These sneakers will kill your feet
Don't buy these sneakers if your feet are wide. Everything the other reviewers say is true. I'm surprised a brand I trusted for comfort (New Balance) made these attractive, but painfully uncomfortable sneakers. If you do choose to buy them (don't!), pull out an insole and compare it to the width of your foot. If your foot is wide like mine, you'll notice the insole's made for someone with very narrow feet...hence, they don't fit the fat footed! Vanity (they give the illusion that one's feet are normal width) and laziness (I didn't feel like taking them to the post office during the holiday season) made me keep them, but not for long...I threw them out in disgust three weeks later. New Balance really screwed these ones up!

Not true to size
Although I normally wear New Balance athletic shoes in the same size, this pair was a good 1/2 to a full size shorter than marked. Had to return it. Gave it a neutral rating, since I never was able to do anything more than try it on.

Not true to size
Ordered size 11 expecting same fit as 645. This shoe felt more like a 10. Going to return shoes.

Affordable quality sneakers
I've always liked New Balance, but I've had very little choice, since few other sneaker companies bother to make shoes for those of us with extra-wide feet. These sneakers are attractive and comfortable, although the toe area is a little snugger than I'm accustomed to.

house slippers
these shoes look good but have no support on the inside. too much material in sole on the outer edge causes your foot to move uncomfortably to the inside. i have bought New Balance shoes for years and have always been pleased before, so i ordered a second pair in a different color. i would have returned them but i wore them both outside before i realized the poor insole quality. previously i had always purchased running or cross trainners and they have a great insole.
