I must agree with all that has been written in here. These sandals are expensive, but for me with heel pain on the right and toe pain on the left, it was a good investment. They are so adjustable; I can always find a comfortable way to wear them. My left foot swells some days and not others, so regular shoes are problematic, to say the least.

I’ve been wearing the Kisumu sandals for more than a month. They take some getting use to. At first it was exhausting to walk to work in them, but no more. My legs and butt are getting toned and stronger and I enjoy these sandals increasingly. It’s hard to know what would be right for another person with foot problems, so all I can say is that these are working for me, I walk a lot more than I did before I bought them, and I’m surprised to find they don’t look all that bad with skirts, capris, or long pants. Take it from someone with a life long struggle with sore feet…MBTs in general and this sandle in particular are the best shoes I have ever owned. They are comfortable and I am able to walk far and wide without pain or fatigue. Recently I went on a hiking tour of Ireland and took this shoe and a traditional one. I walked for 8 miles in the MBT and was tired but not in pain. I walked two miles in the other shoe and took a taxi back because the pain and exhaustion was unbearable.

These are great shoes and worth every penny. I now own four pairs including a dress shoe for work. Very nice!

Let’s face it, these are not cheap, BUT, they are worth every penny. I’ve only had mine for a few days, but they are just awesome. I have lower back pain, so these were suggested to me by a salesman in a local store. These sandals, in particular, are great because every strap is adjustable. I have a bit of a wide, thick arched foot. I was able to adjust each strap for a custom fit. The sole makes you feel like you’re floating along. Makes you want to walk and walk and walk! I do feel a little sore in some muscles, but I probably wore them too long on the first day. Watch the video — makes a lot of sense. I have a trip to Yosemite schedule in a couple months, and these shoes will definitely make the trip with me! I like these shoes so much that I’ve ordered another pair of MBT’s for work!
